Are you searching for a reputable CBD manufacturer for your pet?
Well, as of 2019 I have a new recommendations for you.
If you live in the UK, you can order CBD for your pet, however I currently don’t recommend a UK based company.
The reason is that in my opinion, the best CBD oil for pets comes from companies located in the United States, or companies based in the US.
Fortunately for you, there is a website which distributes these CBD brands. This means you can order them safely, and you don’t need to pay a huge shipping fee.
In the past, I recommended several Pet CBD companies however they no longer ship outside of the United States.
After researching many UK distributors, I finally found the TheDrug.Store, which is an online CBD retailer in the UK.
What’s great is that they actually carry many high quality CBD brands I’m familiar with.
The brand I would recommend you use with your dog or cat is CBDistillery Tincture.
They offer a 500mg and a 1000mg bottle.
The bottle size is the same, but the concentration is double. The 1000mg bottle is simply just double the concentration per serving.
You will save money by ordering the larger bottle.
Dosage Recommendation for This Tincture – 500 mg
The dosage guideline for this tincture is very straightforward:
- For small dogs (under 9 kg): Give 1/4 of a dropper
- For medium dogs (9 to 27 kg): Give 1/2 of a dropper
- For large dogs (over 27 kg): Give 3/4 of a dropper
These are the daily amounts for the 500 mg bottle. If you wish, you can give half the dose in the morning and half at night. If you opt in for the 1000 mg bottle, then these recommendations should be reduced by half. If you have a very small dog, it’s a bit easier to dose with the lower concentration.
Remember these are just general guidelines, as is the case with any type of oil you give your pet. Always monitor your pet as you give them CBD, and increase or decrease the dose as needed.
If you wish, you can begin with a lower dosage to start. Simply give half the recommended dose for the first week or two, and work your way up.
If your pet is not seeing results after approximately 2 or 3 weeks, consider increasing the dosage. Consider increasing the dose to double the suggestions above, which would be considered a strong dose.
Always monitor how your pet is doing and adjust the dose as required.
